Welcome to the homepage of the IMVU stamp club. We'll keep it short and sweet, since we're sure you're probably wondering what the heck is going on.

The IMVU stamp club is a club of IMVU members that collect little 50x50 stamps to place on stamp cards on their homepages. It's really quite simple. It's a form of expression, they're fun to make, and they don't take up a lot of space. Anyone can join and anyone can make stamps. We have a homepage (which you probably figured out already), an IMVU Group, and apparently, a lot of free time.
To be a member of the stamp club, you'll need a Stamp Card (see below for the default version). To make stamps, you'll need the stamp template. (Click here for the .png version if you don't have Photoshop.) To make stamp cards, you'll need the stamp card template.

The following are just some examples of what the stamps look like. They're cute, quick to load, and can say a lot about you. Typical stamp format is .png, but you can use .gif if you like. You position your stamps on your stampcard any way that you like, once you've installed the stampcard on your homepage. Neat, huh? It's okay if the stamps aren't perfectly aligned. Real ones aren't either (unless you're really OCD). But we've found that they line up incredibly easily.

If you just can't wait to start picking up pre-existing stamps or want to see how it looks on your homepage, you can use the default stamp card. It's the official "IMVU stamp club" card. We're sure you'll want to make your own eventually, but for now, this ought to do! Copy the code below and insert it into one of your homepage panels. It's probably best to put it into one of the wider ones.

Then, buy your stamps and put them on the card! If you aren't sure where to find them, click this link to go to the ultimate stamp listing. Any stamp marked with the official "imvustamps" keyword will show up in this listing. Happy collecting!

If you just can't get enough and want to have a fun place to talk to other collectors and stampmakers, the IMVU stamp club has its own public group. We'd love for you to come in and share your stamp ideas and anything else that pops into your head! So please, come and join us.

Of course, every club has its rules. Ours mostly pertain to how to make your stamps and your stampcards. Still, we'd appreciate it if you'd read them before you start to work, just so that you understand exactly how everything is done!
For Stamps:
Before you make a stamp, please check the list to make sure that it doesn't already exist. If it does, and even if you hate it, and want to make one that's better, try to make it different in SOME way so that the list doesn't get spammed with duplicates. Official stamps should be special and worth collecting!
Please use the template.
You MUST put in the keyword "imvustamps" so that other people can find yours to buy them!
PLEASE make your stamps transparent around the border!
Please keep the white border area white! People want to buy stamps that do not clash with the others on their card.
Please follow IMVU's TOS when making your stamps. Do not put stamps in the General Audience category that have R-rated language on them. (Or boobs.) D: We can and will blacklist a stamp if it doesn't meet Club standards.
You may price your stamps any way you feel. I price my regular stamps at one credit above breakeven, because I feel it's quite a pain for people to pay upwards of 200+ credits per tiny little stamp. This is a great way to make dev tokens for shoutouts, too. If you've ever felt like you should make an effort to get some of those promo credits out of the economy, keep your stamp prices low and you'll reap the rewards in shoutout money. (You know, so that the rest of your catalog can get some play?)
Don't be afraid to make a super-special stamp that's hard for people to get a hold of. I wouldn't make private ones, though... what's the fun in that? If you want a very special stamp, price it high if you like, but make it special. That way, when people see it, they can go "wow! she actually owns that one!"
Each stamp image is 50x50 pixels. When you make your thumbnail, just extend the canvas to 100x80 pixels when you're done, and save it as a .png just like you did for your stamp. Bam -- pretty thumbnail that displays exactly what your stamp looks like, and all you have to do is describe what the stamp is for in your description!
For Stampcards:
Please keep your stampcard the same size as everyone else's (use the template). Change the color, add your own title, or use one that already exists, but half the fun of being in the stamp Club is having the stamp card. Don't just leave your stamps around your page willy-nilly, please! :D
You must link your stampcard back here. Otherwise, no one else will be able to join. And that would suck.
You can have as many stamp cards as you want.
You can alter and change any stampcard on this page in any way that you want (just don't resize it). You cannot take and alter someone else's stampcard or stamps, so please don't. If you need to make a stamp, don't use a pre-existing one, use the template found above.
